I've been trying to find an input box that has a select dropdown using bootstrap. I found that you can achieve a similar look using http://v4-alpha.getbootstrap.com/components/input-group/
<div class="input-group"> <input type="text" class="form-control" aria-label="Text input with dropdown button"> <div class="input-group-btn"> <button type="button" class="btn btn-secondary dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" aria-haspopup="true" aria-expanded="false"> Action </button> <div class="dropdown-menu dropdown-menu-right"> <a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Action</a> <a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Another action</a> <a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Something else here</a> <div role="separator" class="dropdown-divider"></div> <a class="dropdown-item" href="#">Separated link</a> </div> </div> </div>
This works but is not what I'm trying to achieve. eBay has exactly what I was looking for but there's nothing like it that I can find http://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ListingTemplate&mode=AddItem
It's simply a text box with an arrow that is pulled right and has a dropdown list. It has no input addon or divider like shown in the code above.
How can this be done using bootstrap?
